How long will it take to see results?
Most of our clients feel their clothes fitting differently by their 4th session and see a difference in the mirror by their 8th.
How often do you recommend I come?
Twice per week for private and paired clients should do the trick. If you can only make it once that's okay, you'll still see results, just know that twice or more is optimum.
What's the difference between private or paired sessions and your group reformer classes?
There's nothing like the personal attention you get in a private or paired session. Everything we do is tailored specifically for you.
What kind of people come to you?
We've worked with everyone from professional football players to Olympic athletes to stroke patients and teen models. Every effort will be made to create the combination that's perfect for you.
I'm extremely overweight, will this work for me?
You're not alone, everyone has their challenges and for some of us it's weight. We keep in mind that much of the obesity in society is gene driven, not a matter of "will power". We're happy to work with you - no judgement.
Will I have to change my diet and drop my current regimen?
No. Radical lifestyle changes sell a lot of books and DVD's but rarely work, at least, not for long. Making positive changes are most easily accomplished by starting something healthy, like working out with us once or twice per week. Your lifestyle and food choices will improve without much thought or effort.
My doctor told me that Pilates is great for pregnancy. Do you work with pregnant women?
Yes. We've been fortunate enough to have kept several of our clients in shape throughout their pregnancies (20 babies). However, starting new exercise programs while pregnant can be dangerous to you and your baby. If you're planning on getting pregnant and doing pilates throughout, you should start today.
I would like to workout with a partner. Can you match me up with someone?
We'll try.
What should I wear? Bring?
Just wear workout clothes you are comfortable in and we do this barefooted. Just bring yourself, we provide water and towels and even herbal tea if you like.
