"I was intimidated by reformers and Jake not only made me feel comfortable and taught me the ropes, but also gave me great workouts.
Have been going there for about a year now, love the group classes and the privates are really worth it too. Totally toning and reshaping my body.
Love the La Jolla studio - it's full of natural light, fresh ocean air, and tons of street parking!"

"My legs are feeling a burn that is so hot I need a fire extinguisher. I took a couple of classes here and the workout was just as good if not better than a 1:1 with a personal trainer. I think the instruction bridges the gap between form and value for your time. For that reason, these classes are not for total beginners. If you are new to Pilates I recommend taking some private reformer lessons before switching to classes.
The price for classes is really good and they have a monthly unlimited plan that is the best value in La Jolla. The location is convenient - get your exercise done then get your groceries and go home. The facility has nice natural light and there is plenty of space, no awkward bumping of hands or feet with your fellow Pilates enthusiasts.
Everyone I met there, owner, instructor, fellow students - they were all really friendly. If you decide to try Pilates United you have nothing to be shy about, you're in good company =)"

"I was a member here for a year and really loved it. The instructors were great and the class atmosphere was always enjoyable. The classes have a max of eight and the instructors were always willing to customize your workout to help you with whatever areas you wanted to target or make sure that your workout was appropriate for your ability. The only reason I left was because I got a new job and couldn't make it over. I'd highly recommend to all."
